NOTICE OF EMERGENCY CALL FOR APPLICATIONS OPEN N°00/JAPSSO/GC7/HUMAN RIGHTS/2025 FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF PROJECT STAFF

CARE International in Cameroon has been selected by the National Coordinating Body as the Principal Recipient of the Civil Society of the HIV-TB grant (Community Prevention component) for the period 2024-2026. To this end, CARE International in Cameroon has selected JOIN ACTING PROCESS FOR THE SUCCESS OF SUSTAINABLE OBJECTIVES (JAPSSO) to act as Sub-Recipient-HUMAN RIGHTS in the 10 regions of Cameroon. The NGO JAPSSO will have a National Office and three (03) Regional Coordinations namely Adamaoua, North and Far North (ANEN); Center, South and East (CSE); Littoral, West, North-West and South-West (LONOSO). The implementation period of the Project is set from March 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026 and for the replacement needs of 02 positions, the NGO JAPSSO is recruiting.

1. Purpose of the call for applications

As part of the implementation of its activities, the NGO JAPSSO is launching a call for applications for the replacement of 02 positions within the Regional Coordinations:

REGIONAL COORDINATION CENTRE, SOUTH AND EAST “CSE” (01) POSITION):

01 Accountant/Regional GAS/CSE

REGIONAL COORDINATION LITTORAL, WEST, NORTH-WEST, SOUTH-WEST “LONOSO” (01 POSITION):
01 Regional Manager in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation / LONOSO

THE PROFILES OF THE POSITIONS TO BE FILLED ARE:

01/ REGIONAL MANAGER IN CHARGE OF MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF THE LITTORAL/WEST/NORTH-WEST and SOUTH-WEST (LONOSO)
– Bac + 3 years in economics, management, business law, social sciences, monitoring and evaluation or in a related field

– Minimum 02 years of professional experience including 01 year of relevant previous professional experience, particularly in the context of projects financed by international donors or NGOs
– Having worked in a similar position
– Practical knowledge of the use of software dedicated to project management (ACCESS, EXCEL, EPI DATA, etc.)
– Sense of organization, analytical rigor and compliance with deadlines required for the production and transmission of documents
– Ensure regional monitoring and evaluation
– Ensure the collection and analysis of regional project data
– Assist in the design of monitoring and evaluation tools

– Very good management and coordination skills
– Ability to write technical reports
– Ability to establish solid working relationships with colleagues from different functions and cultures
– Ability to work under pressure
– Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet
– Perfect written and oral command of French and/or English

01/ ACCOUNTANT/REGIONAL GAS/CENTRE/SOUTH/EAST
– Bac + 2 years in accounting and finance, business administration, management sciences or in a related field
– Minimum 02 years of professional experience including 01 year of relevant previous professional experience, particularly in the context of projects funded by international donors or NGOs
– Having worked in a similar position
– Practical knowledge of the use of TOM2PRO or SAGE software
– Maintain the regional accounting of the project
– Analyze the accounts
– Mastery of procurement procedures
– Mastery of workshop management
– Organizational skills, analytical rigor and compliance with deadlines required for the production and transmission of documents
– Ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues from different functions and cultures

– Financial report writing skills
– Ability to work under pressure
– Ability to demonstrate rigor and organization
– Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet
– Perfect written and oral command of French and/or English

2. Contract execution locations:
The staff contract execution locations are: Yaoundé (CSE Regional Coordination), Douala (LONOSO Regional Coordination) with travel to the ten regions.

3. Working Conditions:

Employment contract under local law
Remuneration according to profile, experience and budget availability

 REGIONAL MANAGER IN CHARGE OF MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF THE COASTAL/WEST/NORTHWEST and SOUTHWEST (LONOSO): Fixed contract duration: 21 months (April 2025 to December 2026).
 01/ ACCOUNTANT/REGIONAL GAS/CENTRE/SOUTH/EAST: Fixed contract duration: 03 months (April 2025 to June 2025).

Start date: April 2025 and upon signing of the contract.

• a medical certificate less than one month old

To be submitted only in Yaoundé, no later than Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. , strict deadline, at the NGO JAPSSO located in Bastos, on the Fifth Level of the Building between the Russian Embassy and the Spanish Embassy.
