*02 GEO-TOPOGRAPHERS TO WORK WITH THE DOUALA CITY COUNCIL*
Main missions produce plans and maps, and participate in land use planning collect geographic data, interpret them, and propose technical and legal solutions, carry out topographic surveys using tools such as GPS, drones or lasers to measure distances, altitudes, and orientations of the terrain. transform survey data into plans and maps, which represent the terrain accurately.
  contribute to development projects, such as the construction of buildings, roads, or other infrastructure.
     provide technical and legal advice on issues related to geometry, geography, and real estate law.
     participate in the coordination of construction sites, ensuring that surveys and plans are correctly used.
     Required diploma
The applicant must hold a professional Master’s degree or Engineering Diploma (Bac+5) in Topography
     Experience
     IJne minimum professional experience of two (02) years in the field of topography
  Requirements and skills be able to carefully observe the terrain and measure details accurately; follow rigorous procedures to ensure the accuracy of its measurements and readings,
     be comfortable with CAD and GIS software to process data and produce plans, be able to communicate with various interlocutors, such as clients, other professionals, or authorities,
     be able to adapt to varied terrain and difficult weather conditions.
     Age requirements
     Be between 25 and 40 years old.

1 – Composition of the file
The file includes.
– A handwritten job application written in French or English, addressed to the Mayor of the City of Douala, stamped at the current rate (01 tax stamp and 01 municipal stamp),
– A Curriculum Vitae (CV),
– A cover letter,
– A photocopy of the birth certificate dated less than three (03) months;
– A photocopy of the reference diploma dated less than three (03) months.
Copies of supporting documents for professional experience,
A photocopy of the National Identity Card or valid passport.
2 – Deadline and place of submission
Complete files will be received every working day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from May 16 to 30, 2025 at the Urban Community Mail Service.
The Mayor of the City will communicate the final results by press and posting.
