Public Health Technician

1- Main mission

  Collect and analyze public health data to identify trends and epidemics;

     Implement disease prevention programs and related campaigns;

     Work with health professionals, development partners and government agencies;

     Use the information system to manage health data and reports

     Have medical knowledge,

  Master the tools related to health management;

– promote the health of the population, experiment and implement prevention programs and respond to health crises;

– have professional ethics and respect the code of ethics. 2- Required diploma

– The applicant must hold a Higher Technician’s Certificate (BTS), a University Technology Diploma (DUT) or a University Diploma of Scientific and Technical Studies (DEUST) in Public Health

3- Experience

• A minimum of two (02) years of professional experience in the health profession.

4- Requirements and skills:

• master the tools related to management in the health field;

• have medical knowledge;

• be able to plan and prioritize tasks to ensure effective monitoring

5- Required age

• be between 25 and 40 years old.

1 – Composition of the file

The file includes.

– A handwritten job application written in French or English, addressed to the Mayor of the City of Douala, stamped at the current rate (01 tax stamp and 01 municipal stamp),

– A Curriculum Vitae (CV),

– A cover letter,

– A photocopy of the birth certificate dated less than three (03) months;

– A photocopy of the reference diploma dated less than three (03) months.

Copies of supporting documents for professional experience,

A photocopy of the National Identity Card or valid passport.

2 – Deadline and place of submission

Complete files will be received every working day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from May 16 to 30, 2025 at the Urban Community Mail Service.

The Mayor of the City will communicate the final results by press and posting.
