Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Assistant (03)

Location: Yaoundé, Douala and Ngaoundéré
Contract: Fixed-term contract: 02 months trial
Under the authority of the Regional Office Manager, the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:




Functions and responsibilities:
 Ensure the management of the project information system at the regional office level;
 Develop the quarterly action plan for the implementation of the regional office activities based on the quarterly action plan developed at the central level;
 Monitor the implementation of activities at the regional office level in collaboration with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Manager;
 Ensure the achievement of the project performance indicators;
 Monitor and control the various data collection procedures at the regional level;
 Support the central office in resolving technical issues;
 Ensure the proper functioning of the data collection and management system;
 Collect data at the regional level and ensure their timely transmission to the central level;




 Centralize and verify technical reports from the sites;
 Ensure the production of activity reports based on reports from the sites.
Job profile:
 Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in social science, public health, development studies, project management or an equivalent diploma
 Have at least three years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, especially in development projects and programs;
 Excellent writing skills (activity report, financial report);
 Good knowledge in data management;
 Good knowledge in filing and archiving systems;
 Have a good knowledge of computer tools: MS-Word, Excel, Internet etc …
 Mastery of French and English languages.
Skills and abilities: Interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team. The candidate must be able to plan, implement, monitor and defend programs and beneficiaries. He must have strong time management skills and be able to prioritize and execute multiple activities simultaneously.
