03 Regional Office Managers – CHP CARE and Health Program Cameroon

Contract: Fixed-term contract: 02 months trial.
Under the authority of the Technical Advisor for Community System Strengthening, the Regional Office Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:
Functions and responsibilities:
 Contribute to the planning and implementation of activities in the region of assignment;
 Carry out field missions to intervention sites in the region of assignment;
 Plan and coordinate supervision missions for activities in the region of assignment;
 Monitor/evaluate beneficiary activities in collaboration with local partners;
 Contribute to the development of partners at the local level for the implementation of project activities;
 Produce field visit reports and meetings with partners in the area of ​​assignment.
Job profile:
 Hold at least a Master’s degree or equivalent diploma in the following fields: public health, politics, and / or public administration, social sciences, international development, community development;
 Have at least three years of professional experience in formative supervision and monitoring-evaluation of PMTCT / SMNI / FP / HIV / AIDS interventions in communities and health facilities in health districts;
 Have experience in identifying associations and organizations for mobilization;
 Have experience in monitoring and supervising community-based activities;
 Have experience with the Global Fund’s financial management rules and procedures is an asset;
 Have experience in managing the requirements for programmatic and financial reports required;
 Coordinate and supervise the production of activity and financial reports for the intervention area;
 Have a good knowledge in data collection and preparation of activity reports;
 Have a good knowledge of computer tools: MS-Word, Excel, Internet etc …
 Mastery of French and English languages.
Skills and abilities: Interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team. The candidate must be able to plan, implement, monitor and defend programs and beneficiaries. He must have strong time management skills and be able to prioritize and execute multiple activities simultaneously.
