Context

As part of the official launch of the global activities of the World Youth Parliament scheduled for

May 13, 2025 at the United Nations Palace, the World Youth Parliament – ​​Cameroon, invites the

Application for the selection of 10 official correspondents. These correspondents will represent

each of Cameroon’s 10 regions and will play a key role in the regional coordination of

the Parliament’s initiatives.

Objective

Strengthen the presence and effectiveness of the World Youth Parliament throughout Cameroon by

appointing qualified regional representatives to facilitate the implementation of programs and

ensure effective liaison between the regions and the national leadership.

Profiles sought

– Legal professionals: Doctors or professors of law, lawyers specializing in human rights.

– Other professionals: Teachers, researchers, community or association leaders with

relevant experience. – Committed young people: Aged 18 to 55, with a strong involvement in youth and development

issues . Documents to be provided – Cover letter addressed to His Excellency Honorable President, Founder. – Detailed curriculum vitae. – Copy of national identity card or passport. – Proof of academic and professional qualifications.

– Letter(s) of recommendation (optional but recommended).

Correspondents’ commitments

– Officially represent the World Youth Parliament in their respective region.

– Facilitate communication between the national leadership and regional stakeholders.

– Organize and coordinate the activities of the Parliament at the regional level.

– Participate in meetings and training sessions organized by the Parliament.
