The University of  Milan is offering 160 fully funded scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year as part of its internationalization strategy to attract talented students worldwide. These Italian fully-funded scholarships aim to support outstanding international students enrolling in master’s degree programs.

1# Total of 60 Scholarships worth €8,000 each

• • Recipients will receive €8,000 alongside a full exemption from tuition fees.
  • The scholarship amount is considered taxable under Irpef taxation, as per Article 50, paragraph 1, letter c) of the TUIR.

2# Total of 100 Tuition Fee Exemptions

• • These recipients will benefit from a complete exemption from the university’s all-inclusive tuition fee.

Eligibility Criteria

These scholarships are exclusively for international students who:

• • Hold a foreign academic qualification.
  • Are admitted to a Master’s degree program or the International Medical School single-cycle master program at the University of Milan.

• Meet merit-based requirements, evaluated based on:
  • Academic achievements in their prior studies.
  • Curriculum vitae submitted during the admission application.
  • Coursework progress during the first year of the master’s program.

Application Process

One of the best parts? No separate application is required!

• Simply apply for admission to a University of Milan Master’s program by May 31, 2025.
• An ad-hoc commission will automatically review all eligible candidates.
• In July 2025, the selected recipients will receive a formal email confirming their scholarship award.
