*Job-Specific Responsibilities*

• Provide information and advice about Globus Education Systems, generally, and about its admissions procedures specifically, through information sessions conducted both in the GES office and elsewhere.

 

 

 




 

• Travel may be undertaken independently or as joint travel with other colleagues and may be assigned to work permanently overseas.
• Conduct interviews of prospective and current applicants.
• Read and evaluate admissions applications from assigned geographical. Apply discretion and independent judgment in deciding which qualified students should be presented to the scholarship committee for possible award.
• Handle correspondence, email and telephone contact from prospective students, applicants, parents, secondary school administrators and the general public in assigned geographical regions.
• Answer and respond to inquiries and concerns of applicants and students both admitted and rejected from assigned geographical area.
• Additional administrative responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to, the preparation of publications, coordination of student groups, coordination of recruiting efforts, coordination of joint travel, assisting with the transfer admissions process and treatment of application forms and other application requirement to conform and be transmitted to partner universities.
Typical Core Duties
• Recruit, evaluate, and make recommendations on the selection of candidates for admissions
• Perform pre and post admissions outreach; counsel admitted, denied and wait-listed candidates
• Coordinate onsite logistics for admissions events
• May assist in the administration of a specific project and/or program
• Develop relationships with secondary or university personnel, professional organizations, students, parents, alumni and secondary school staff
• Ensure compliance with university admissions policies and procedures and applicable legal rules and regulations with respect to students’ rights to privacy

 

 

 

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required with a maximum age limit of 45 years maximum
• Minimum of 3 year relevant work experience and proficient in both English and French language
• Masters degree an added advantage

*Additional Qualifications and Skills*

• Should possess strong customer service orientation.
• Must work well under pressure, and possess strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines, independent initiative, excellent judgment, and the ability to keep information confidential.
• Proficiency with computers and office productivity tools a must; access to Internet in order to review applications and work remotely as needed
• Problem solving skills, including specifically: the ability to develop and analyze options/hypotheses objectively.
• Communication skills (both written and verbal), including specifically: the ability to make presentations to large groups of students, parents and alumni/ae.
Physical Requirements
• Extensive travel, ability to work evenings and weekends, substantial interviewing, admissions application review, and full participation in the work of the Admissions Selection Committee
• Work will require sitting, near vision use for reading and computer use for extended periods of time, bending, and other physical exertion.
Working Conditions
• Work is typically performed in an office setting but may be remote, as directed by GES
• Travel and night/weekend work is usually a part of the position

A Yaoundé based company is looking for a digital marketing manager who can create content, Strategies, reply to customers and manage their social media platforms.

*Job Description*

We are looking for an experienced, creative and passionate digital marketing guru to join our forward looking team. As our Digital marketing Manager you will be charged with the responsibility to develop our social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. You will develop and implement social media strategy that will improve our marketing and sales efforts online. You will work closely with our sales team and also with our external partners.

*Job Responsibilities*

• Develop, execute and manage our social media strategy for all our social media platforms.
• Create appealing and informative graphics and develop content for our social media handles.
• Create, manage and measure social media campaigns with key performances indicators clearly stated when launching the campaigns.
• Manage and monitor our social media content and pages to ensure we follow regulations.
• Interact with customers via social handles and respond to all messages received through our social media handles and Company website.
• Stay up to date with the most recent social media best practices and technologies.
• Collaborate with Marketing and sales teams.
• Present bi-weekly reports and constructive feedback to senior management.

*Qualifications*

• 2 years of experience as a digital marketing expert or associated role.
• Have successfully created and ran social media campaigns that have generated business for the institution.
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook and its terms of services, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube with active accounts on at least 4 of the above mentioned social media platforms.
• Have experience in graphic design with a mastery of any tool used in creating visual content.
• Great leadership skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Good Team Player
• Great interpersonal, communication and marketing skills
• Bilingual (Speaks and write both English and French)
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related field. Master’s degree a plus
• Knowledge of SEO and other digital skills
• Knowledge of traveling and tourism industry
• Be ready to start work immediately within 24hours notice period.
