*24 Mentors Needed at Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS)*

Job Description

Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS) is a non-governmental and not for profit organization dedicated to seeking innovative solutions to
strengthen health systems in developing countries for effective service delivery and surveillance of infectious, non-infectious, and neglected tropical diseases. We focus in four key areas: strengthening laboratory systems services and network for an efficient health care delivery,
strengthening of disease surveillance systems and facilitate health care delivery programs, conduct operational research to inform health decisions for better patient outcomes, and empowering youths in Cameroon.

Our major collaborators include Ministries of Health, World Health Organization (WHO), United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Africa Centers for Disease Control, Mastercard Foundation and several bi-lateral organizations.

Purpose of the Role

In order to strengthen its operational capacities for the implementation of a program aimed at empowering youths in Cameroon, GHSS is currently seeking for outstanding, qualified and experienced Mentors in the Northwest, Southwest, East, Far north, Littoral and West regions to mentor beneficiaries of the said program in some educational and economic sectors.

• Agriculture
• Food and Product Transformation,
• Formal Education
• Beauty and Wellness
• Construction Trades
• Employability Skills Training
• Information Communication Technology
• Finance management
• Vocational trades
• Health Education

Submission of Application:

• Complete application files comprising of an application, a motivation letter, curriculum vitae and copies of the required academic/professional qualifications/certificates in one of the sectors covered by the program can be submitted either online via recruitment@ghsscm.org, or physically at GHSS head office at Denver Bonamoussadi, Douala from 9am – 2pm, Monday to Friday.

• Professional qualifications in any economic or educational sector cited above
  demonstrated expertise
• Commitment to promoting education, economic empowerment, and sustainable
  development
• Experience mentoring youths will be an asset
• Experience working with NGOs, Government agencies, or international organizations will equally be considered as an asset

• Ability to motivate, inspire, and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds.
