Job Objectives
To manage the process of assessing employee performance on their jobs
Roles and Responsibilities
- – Monitor the bank’s strategic plan to ensure the bank delivers on performance indicators across various departments so that targets are achieved.
- – Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through performance
- – Design and implement performance evaluation approach
- – Perform detailed analysis of staff performance to identify basis for deviations from plans and present result to Head Human Capital Management
- – Management of the performance appraisal process through the administration of clearly defined policies / procedures
- – Organize appraisal review meetings and monitor implementation of appraisal review recommendations
- – Carry out industry survey on Staff Performance
- – Carry out comparative Survey
Key Performance Indicators
- – Time taken to attend to grievance issues that may arise from appraisal exercise
- – Variance between time slated for Performance Appraisal Process and actual time it takes place
- – Time taken to submit periodic appraisal reports
- – Seen as helping others especially the sales force exceed their targets
Qualification required :
- Minimum of a first degree in any Social Science discipline
Experience required :
Minimum experience requirement – 5 years’ relevant experience
Key Skills :
Knowledge
- – Knowledge of UBA organization structure
- – Knowledge of Vision platform
- – Practical & broad understanding of policies, methods, systems, processes
- – Career management
- – Performance management
Skills/Competencies/Aptitudes
- – Professional layout
- – Possess strong IT appreciation & application skills
- – Pay attention to detail, Reporting, Analytical Thinking, Workload Management, good numeric ability, supervisory skills.
