SOCIETE GENERALE CAMEROUN is looking for one (01) IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN on behalf of its SIOP / IT Department.

MAIN MISSION
The incumbent assists and offers support to users on computer hardware and on all office software packages and business applications deployed in the network. He ensures safety and guarantees the proper functioning of the park. It keeps office applications in optimal working order. It rigorously monitors the supply and maintenance of the network’s printer fleet.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintenance and management of computer equipment (workstation, printers, scanners, laptops, etc.)
a – Manage Windows accounts at the Active Directory level: Administer the Active Directory; Backs up user data as well as data from certain applications; Diagnose and deal with incidents.
b – Installation and configuration of software and hardware: Installs and configures operating systems and office software; Installs workstations, printers or any other computer peripherals, as well as the connection aspects of the site.
c – Mail administration: Create, delete and modify mail accounts; Manages quotas, number of recipients, access to distribution groups…; Verifies and ensures the effectiveness of planned data backups.
d – Project management – Work station: Participate in solution deployment projects; Processes raised alerts.
e – Security management on workstations: Deploys security patches on workstations; Verifies aspects related to the security of the micro park; Ensures that virus protection software is up-to-date on workstations.
