Context and justification
The association Action pour le Respect des Droits de l’Homme et la Dignité Humaine (ARDHU) is a local non-profit organization created on September 11, 2019.Its head office is in Maroua (Baoliwol), Maroua 1st district,Diamaré department, Far North region. ARDHU’s mission is to promote, defendand protect the fundamental rights of the most vulnerable individuals. Its actions extend tofive (05) departments, including Diamaré, Mayo-Sava, Mayo-Tsanaga, Mayo-Danayand Logone-et-Chari.ARDHU is a CC4R (Capacity Community For Resilience) partner for the
implementationof Phase II of the Community Resilience Support Program inCameroon (PARC-Cameroon); implemented by FHI 360 (Family Health International360); and funded by the United States Agency for International Development(USAID).As part of the Community Mapping by Youth (CCJ), theARDHU association is launching this call for applications for the selection of thirty (30) young cartographers (girlsand boys in the localities of Tolkomari and Blabline. Selection criteria Young girls and boys who meet the following conditions may apply:1. Master at least one of the local languages (podoko, mafa, kanouri, fulfulde, etc.) spoken inthe Community;2. Be young aged 18 years minimum and 29 years maximum;3. Be resident in the community (Tolkomari or Blabline);4. Know how to use a smartphone or tablet (optional);5. Know how to read and write in French (optional);6. Be available to participate in the Community Mapping effort (collection, analysis andwriting of the report);7. Be willing to comply with the guidelines of PARC-CameroonNB: female candidates and people living with disabilities are stronglyencouraged.Composition of the application fileTo be admissible, application files must contain the following documents: A photocopy of the birth certificate, the National Identity Card (CNI) or a valid receipt;
A cover letter addressed to the president of the ARDHU association; A recruitment form for young cartographers duly completed by the young candidate. A letter of recommendation (if applicable).The said application form can be collected from: ARDHU headquarters in Maroua(Baoliwol), the sub-prefecture of Mora, the town hall of Kolofata, the lawanat of Tolkomari,the chiefdom of Blabline, Rahissa Kocha Julienne (690 55 70 15)

Complete application files must be submitted directly to the ARDHU headquarters in Maroua
or Mora:

The deadline for the admissibility of application files is set for Saturday, September 7, 2024
at 4:00 p.m.
NB: The closed envelope containing the application file must bear the words: “Recruitment of
Young Cartographers”. The files are submitted free of charge without any fees.
Selection procedure
– The application files received will be examined and then reviewed by a
selection committee made up of members of the Advisory Committee and the ARDHU association team.
At the end of this examination, the list of selected candidates will be posted at
the ARDHU association office (located in the Maroua district), at the Mora sub-prefecture, the
Kolofata town hall, the Tolkomari lawanat, the Blabline chiefdom and those interested will be
notified by telephone.
