Job Title: Veterinary Professional for Integrated Farm

Location: Boulembe, East Region (not far from Bertoua)

Salary: Negotiable

Our integrated farm is currently hiring a Veterinary Professional to join our team in Boulembe. This role involves collaborating with an experienced Agricultural Technician to establish and manage the farm.

Responsibilities:

– Work closely with the Agricultural Technician to develop and implement veterinary protocols for the integrated farm.

– Provide expert advice on animal health, welfare, and nutrition.

– Conduct regular health assessments, diagnose and treat illnesses, and administer appropriate medications.

– Monitor and manage animal breeding programs, ensuring optimal reproductive health.

– Oversee vaccination programs and maintain accurate records.

– Collaborate with the Agricultural Technician to develop and implement biosecurity measures.

– Train and educate farm staff on proper animal care and handling techniques.

– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

– Degree or diploma in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution.

– Previous experience working with farm animals, preferably in an integrated farm setting.

– Strong knowledge of animal health, nutrition, and welfare.

– Ability to diagnose and treat common farm animal ailments.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Proficient in record-keeping and documentation.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
