SOCIETE GENERALE CAMEROON is looking for an APPLICATION PROJECT MANAGER (MOA) for its Project & Organization Department
MISSION
For this 10th category position based in Douala, the main mission of the MOA Organizer is to provide first-level application support, to lead projects with regulatory added value, business, risk management and operational efficiency;
while ensuring good change management. In addition, he manages his projects in line with SGCAM’s project portfolio and its budget resulting from the SG group’s strategic projection. Finally, he leads missions of organization and support of business lines.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
1. Project management (CHANGE):
- Respect the project management methodology, construction sites in force and mandatory governance bodies;
- Ensure the proper implementation and effective management of projects (organization, process optimization, new products, business, regulatory, etc.), by ensuring strict compliance with project constraints: quality, cost, deadline, resources, risks, scope, safety;
- Assist business lines in the drafting of expressions of needs and security forms, relating to evolution requests and transmit them to the entities in charge of implementation;
- Ensure the follow-up of the performance indicators of its activity, and ensure strict compliance with internal procedures;
- Ensure good change management when implementing new modules and products;
- Ensure good communication during the progress of the project to the various stakeholders;
- Provide training, popularization of the project management methodology within the bank;
- Be a force of proposal within the team
2. RUN Activity:
- Provide 1st level assistance to all operational and functional structures of the bank on any need and incident;
- Meet Intake Processing Times (SLAs)

3. Optimization missions – Organization:
- Take charge of the organization and process optimization missions within the subsidiary in order to improve productivity and quality of service;
- Take charge of the writing of user manuals and operating procedures;
- Ensure the updating of the normative documentation repository by facilitating, updating and drafting procedures with the departments concerned.
PROFILE
- Engineer or Bacc +5 in Project Management, Computer Science or any other related disciplines
EXPERIMENT:
- Minimum 03 years of professional experience in organizational consulting, project management, process redesign and optimization, application management (including Amplitude Bank)
BUSINESS SKILLS:
- Good knowledge of Amplitude Bank software;
- Experience in project management (PMP or PRINCE certification is an asset);
- Knowledge of mapping and process optimization techniques;
- Knowledge of the various banking professions;
- Excellent written and oral communication;
- risks related to transformation work and prepare response plans
