The Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross for Central Africa in Yaoundé is looking for a Storekeeper for its services to strengthen the team of the LOG
department Position: Storekeeper 1 (Storekeeper) Based in Koussen (Far North-Cameroon)Type of contract: 12-month fixed-term contract (offer reserved exclusively for Cameroonian nationals)

Taking office:01. 02. 2023

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives packages and checks compliance with the delivery note reports any problem
• Ensures that goods are properly stored, collected, packaged and loaded. reports any problems;
• Ensures that all goods st.k. are properly labelled (expiry date, batch number, manufacturer’s name, etc.) and registered
• Weighs goods and points them during loading and unloading;
• Updates stock and inventory records when supervising an inventory operation;
• Participates in inventories;

• Ensure that equipment and materials are kept in good condition, clean and tidy;
• reports any problems;
• If necessary, ensure that temperatures are properly recorded;
• Supervises handlers

REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum BEPC;
• At least one year of experience as a storekeeper;
• Computer skills would be an advantage;
• For medical warehouse foundions only: experience in a pharmaceutical company would be an advantage;
• Good knowledge of the far north Cameroon;
• Bilingual French/English.
