 Main Mission

The production mechanic performs mechanical maintenance activities for energy production equipment in strict compliance with standards, procedures, operating methods and QHSE rules.

Main Activities and Tasks

· Participate in carrying out inspections, readings, measurements and routine checks on equipment in operation or shutdown;

· Execute level 1 to 2 preventive, corrective and curative maintenance operations;

· Participate in the verification of lockout and lockout maneuvers for type 1 and 2 structures;

· Participate in the control of resources and budgetary costs of the unit;

· Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards and procedures when carrying out its activities.

Profile Required

· CAP, Probatory or Bachelor’s degree in mechanics or related field;

· Minimum 1 year of experience in the operation or maintenance of industrial production units.

Technical Skills

· Good command of the principles of general mechanics;

· Good knowledge of the operation and architecture of mechanical equipment;

· Good knowledge of spare parts supply procedures;

· Good knowledge of devices for measuring electrical and mechanical values ​​(wattmeter, valve opening, thermometer, oil circulation indicators, pressure gauge);

Good knowledge of basic safety rules (work at height, confined spaces, hot work, etc.);

· Ability to understand machine operating instructions;

· Ability to understand electrical diagrams, plans and graphics;

· Knowledge of the fault diagnosis process;

· Ability to read and interpret the technical documentation of the unit’s equipment;

· Ability to use the computer tool and the Microsoft Office pack (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams).
