The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC), recruits for service needs an anatomopathologist.
Position: Anatomical pathologist
Status: Category 12/B, full-time, fixed-term contract of two (02) years, including 4-month trial period.
Location: Centre Pasteur du Cameroun (CPC), Yaoundé.
Work environment .
The Centre Pasteur du Cameroun is a public health and reference laboratory. The activity of medical analyzes is carried out 24/7 for the benefit of the populations for the following disciplines of medical biology: anatomy and pathological cytology, bacteriology-parasitologymycology, biochemistry, hematology, mycobacteriology. Serology and Virology analyses are accredited to ISO 15189.
All laboratory analysis activities are computerized, from the registration of requests to the validation of results.
Mission and activities of the position: The pathologist is responsible for the quality of the results rendered,
which he ensures the interpretation and validation within the deadlines compatible with the management of patients. To do this, he implements and animates quality management for the discipline for which he is responsible; it defines and implements analysis methods and ensures their verification and validation,
- He supervises the technical staff for whom he defines the distribution of tasks, job descriptions and carries out continuous training and annual evaluations.
- It ensures compliance with internal regulations, hygiene, safety and confidentiality rules;
- He participates in training, research and public health activities within the CPC.
PROFILE
- Anatomical pathologist with at least 2 years’ experience.
Required skills:
- Skills: Have a good knowledge of computer tools, be able to lead a team, be endowed with a forecasting, motivated and enthusiastic mind, have a concern for performance, have good interpersonal skills and be of great probity. Proven professional knowledge.
