OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM

Country Office Administrative Support Units (CSUs) have been established in the organizational structure to provide support to managers and staff to enable them to fully exercise their responsibilities within the GSM environment and Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, rules and regulations in all transactions or for all administrative and financial matters, within the context of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

 




 

 

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Officer, the incumbent performs the following duties: – Drives service vehicles to ensure the transport of authorized personnel and the delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items; official at the airport and facilitates customs and immigration formalities, as required; Responsible for the daily maintenance of the assigned vehicle, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc., performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs, regular maintenance and keeps the vehicle clean; Records official trips, mileage, fuel consumption, daily oil changes, lubrication, etc. ;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education

  • Essential: At least the certificate of the first cycle of the secondary and a driving license valid for all categories of the country.

Desirable :
Experience

  • Essential: Have at least one year of progressive driving experience as a driver and a safe driving record.

Desirable: Experience in the United Nations system would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of country driving rules and regulations and ability to perform minor vehicle repairs;
  • Ability to read, write and understand instructions in the working language; and An ability to write a concise and accurate accident report

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at XAF 5,050,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
