Hotel management controller
A minimum of 2 years of experience in management control in the hotel industry is mandatory
Job :
Reporting to the General Manager, your main mission will be to provide all the information in terms of controlling expenditure revenue and improving the economic profitability of the company.
You will be in more detail in charge of:
- Set up management control in the hotel to ensure control of turnover and costs;
- Check that the procedures in place are followed, understood and that the people concerned adhere to them;
- Check the daily report, the report of deductions, disbursements and have it approved by the persons concerned;
- Participate in the development of monthly dashboards with the chief accountant and in the analysis of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual results;
- Propose action plans and monitor them;
- Supervise the catering department, the kitchen, the Economat, stocks, control of technical sheets, purchase prices, inventories, reception, other income, F&B consumption, accommodation consumption, consumption of other departments and all other expenditure and payment items;
- Carry out a physical inventory check;
Required profile :
With a higher education in Finance Accounting Management control, you have at least 2 years of experience in accounting management, preferably in the hotel sector
Skills required:
- Excellent understanding of hotel operations and administration, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, taxation
- Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex information and/or activities in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches;
- Ability to train team members and develop their skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
- Ability to communicate at all levels;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and sense of initiative;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software);
- Excellent decision-making ability.
