YOUR MISSION

In charge of developing prescriptions, the Key Account Maternity is responsible for implementing the CANN by managing the establishments in its portfolio.

The Key Account Representative will report directly to the Healthcare Nutrition Manager Central Africa.

YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES

 

 

 

 

Health facility management

•  List the different health establishments and identify the key accounts (segmentation)
•  Identify in each key account the influential decision makers on the choice of infant feeding products
•  Develop a perfect knowledge of the needs and expectations of key accounts
•  Participate in the definition of the key account strategy with the Head of HN and the Supervisors
•  Identify business opportunities in key accounts and propose initiatives to achieve objectives
•  Understand competitive activities and recommend actions to counter them to help protect our market positions
•  Propose a specific action plan Key Accounts, in line with the HN strategy and in accordance with the previously set budget

Reporting

•  Write and present regular reports on its activity according to pre-established formats and schedules
•  Regularly update the key accounts database, in accordance with internal procedures and processes
•  Report daily the results obtained in the various key accounts.

 

 

 

Guide key accounts (health establishments) in the choice of their brands

•  Periodically visit a defined list of decision-makers within key accounts in order to build solid relationships and influence their choice of brand, thanks to appropriate scientific and commercial arguments
•  Implement the actions necessary to achieve the objectives set, while respecting the allocated budget
•  Organize the presence of our brands in public and private health establishments in compliance with local regulations, either by referencing our products (responses to calls for tenders, purchase requests, etc.), or by influencing the choice of prescribed brands.

•  Offer high value-added products and services to meet the expectations of key accounts, while maximizing the return on investment
•  Ensure that products and services are delivered to key accounts in accordance with past agreements
•  Be recognized by key accounts as the preferred point of contact for any questions, needs or inquiries
•  Communicate effective messages to all healthcare professionals and KOLs, using appropriate techniques and tools.

Compliance

•  Ensure all activities comply with WHO code, local infant formula regulations and Danone Nutricia ELN policies

Contribution to the team

•  Be the team’s referent regarding health institutions
•  Serve as a link between HN delegates and key account HCPs
•  Provide the team with all information about the institutions, whether they are visited or not
•  Work closely with team members and ensure progress on individual and collective KPIs
•  Work in synergy with pharmaceutical and sales representatives

Gathering information and ideas

•  Identify key account changes and trends in their decision-making, needs and concerns
•  Collect all information on the universe of health professionals and identify new contacts
•  Identify future emerging KOLs

PROFILE

•  University or higher education diploma (Bac + 3); training of at least two years in the scientific field (Biology, Agrifood, Nutrition, etc.) and in the commercial field.
•  You have at least 2 years of experience as a medical, commercial or pharmacy representative
•  You have scientific knowledge / nutrition; commercial Technics ; negotiation techniques; budget management; Communication.
• You have the ability to work independently and also in a team with a sense of organization
•  You have basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
•  You have a spirit of analysis and synthesis, you are result-oriented with a sense of business and service
•  Openness, Empathy, Listening are your assets
•  You speak French and English well;
•  You have a valid driver’s license.
