As part of its activities Willis Towers Watson Cameroon is looking for 01 Treasury Accountant

The role:

1. Daily cash management

• Monitoring of bank accounts on online banking platforms
• Verification of bank movements (receipts received or disbursements made) and communication to members of the Finance team 
• Update of the cash tracking file
• Presentation to the Chief Accountant and the CFO of the cash situation and banking positions every morning
• Cash control: joint signature with the cashier of the Cash Control Minutes every day

 

 

 

2. Bank reconciliations

• Centralization of bank reconciliations;
• Development and monitoring of the dashboard centralizing all bank suspense
• Proposal of ways to clear bank suspense to the hierarchy

3. Manage relationships with banks

• Meetings with interlocutors on cash flow issues
• Regular reminders on bank suspense (payments made and received on hold, bank remittances not credited)
• Negotiation of better banking conditions applicable to WTW
• Dashboard of banking conditions of the different banks in business relationship with WTW
• Signature control

 

 

 

 

4. Establish the budget and cash forecast

• Analysis of commission collection forecasts and other income
• Analysis of disbursement forecasts 
• Preparation of the cash budget
• Ongoing updates and adjustments

5. Monthly cash reporting (GBAR)

• Summary of bank positions on online accounts
• Summary of bank account balances
• Summary of DATs
• Transmission to the group within the deadlines

6. Optimization of costs and financial products

• Control of agios and bank charges invoiced by the bank
• Monitoring of Term Deposits (DAT) and interest on DAT
• Accounting

7. Validation of local transfers

• Ensure that the bank details of the beneficiaries (health and damage risk providers) appear on the “Master List” of bank details
• Validate transfers on time
• Permanent update of the “Master List” of RIBs

8. Transfers abroad

• Ensure contracts are recorded
• Ensure each time that all the documentation required for the validation of the transfer abroad is met
• Make transfers on time

Requirements

• Minimum of three (03) years of experience in the field of treasury
• Mastery of Sage 1000 and Microsoft Office tools 
• Sense of organization and respect for commitments
• Master’s degree in finance and accounting or equivalent degree
• Fluency in English is an asset
