JOB DUTIES:

The works manager manages the plant’s mini-projects and, in collaboration with the project team, manages the maintenance of utilities in the other entities and participates in projects as requested. He is responsible for a budget to ensure the proper functioning of the facilities.

ACTIVITIES

The Works Manager will be called upon to:

Organize, plan, monitor the work of the Group

• Develop the preventive maintenance schedule for the various equipment and annexes (generators, factory and Entity plumbing, machine tools, boilermaking equipment, buildings, extractors).

• Organize multidisciplinary scuba diving before each production shutdown for maintenance (structured field trip)

 

 

 




 

 

• Manage relationships with manufacturers and suppliers of parts and tools for maintenance

• Control the interventions carried out, propose improvements in the performance of the machines in terms of costs and utilization rate

• Plan, organize and manage the design and execution of new or restructuring works.

• Manage 5s activities within its scope.

• Ensure that the visual management is updated (maintenance plate, anomaly table, visual pressure gauges, etc.)

 

 

 

• React quickly in the event of a serious breakdown to solve the problems

• Pull out the activity progress report on a weekly and/or monthly basis

• Member of the SMQSDA team; participates in the identification and analysis of hazards; accompanies the manager on Maintenance PRPs 1 and 2 (construction and layout of buildings; Layout of premises and workspace).

Supplier follow-up:

• Monitoring compliance with the contractual framework;

• Monitoring of the service provided and the quality of the agreed services and validation of the technical performance indicators.

Implementation and monitoring of equipment maintenance:

• Preventive maintenance plan for ancillary equipment (GE, extractors, welding equipment, factory plumbing, buildings, etc.)

• Regulatory maintenance plan for equipment (valves, balloons, probes, balloons, hoist, trolleys)

• Quality control of the service

• Technological and regulatory watch

Consumption monitoring and cost optimization:

• Water, air, steam, diesel, cold energy savings (Lean, waste reduction)

• Optimize the consumption of spare parts during preventive and corrective maintenance

• Participates in the search for areas of cost optimization (building repainting, consumption control of PDR)

Motivate your team

• Organize a daily update with the Works teams (maintenance ritual)

• Follow the evolution of the resolution of the anomalies (management of the blocking points of correction of the anomalies)

• Ensure compliance with management’s internal/external training schedule

Anticipating developments

• Guarantor of the technical document management of the equipment under his responsibility.

• Prepare the short, medium and long term budget for development, research and investments.

• Develop investment projects and new works

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED SKILLS

PROFILE

• Academic level: BAC +5 in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent in the industrial field (design, architecture, construction, mechanical manufacturing, etc.)

• Additional training and/or qualification: Project Management, Structural sizing, use of CAPM, ERP, CMMS software

• Professional experience: 05 years minimum of professional experience in a similar position

• Age: 30 to 40 years old

TECHNICAL SKILLS

The Works Manager must have the following required skills:

 

Good knowledge of industrial production equipment

Management of preventive maintenance of equipment (anticipating breakdowns)

Management and monitoring of machine hour counters (condition-based maintenance)

Analyze the root causes of major equipment malfunctions

Ability to analyze decision-making in the face of a problem

Mastery of spare parts management (anticipate needs)

Good communication skills;

Adapt to new technologies;

Anticipate problems and know how to detect malfunctions as early as possible;

Exchange and synthesize information from the work environment;

Impeccable integrity and work ethic;

Autonomy, sense of responsibility, organization and meticulousness;

Ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment;
