The Cameroonian Association of Women Doctors, abbreviated as ACAFEM, is an organization under the law of December 19, 1990, which works to improve the reproductive and sexual health of the Cameroonian populations through promotion, health education, advocacy and services.
In order to ensure the implementation of activities within the framework of the CHILL project with its partners, ACAFEM is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of a monitoring and evaluation.

Duration of the Contract : 05 months trial period including
Salary intention: according to the salary grid
Job location: Yaoundé
Main tasks:
He/she is under the direct responsibility of the DIC Manager, must:
– Is under the direct management of the DIC Manager;
– Assist the Dic Manager in the coordination and monitoring of project activities;
– Analysis, disaggregation of project indicators;
– Plans and monitors project activities;
– Responsible for compiling weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual statistical data;
– Build the capacity of project staff on data and project data collection tools;
– Control the quality of data from the field;
– Download and analyze weekly data;

 

 

 

– Develop procedures for recording and synchronizing data;
– Check the availability of KP PREV and HTC sheets and other data sources on a daily basis;
– Build staff capacity on PEPFAR indicators and data collection tools used at the DIC level;
– Reminder of the targets and daily achievements of each peer leader in collaboration with the community mobilization officers and the DIC Manager in order to follow the cascade;
– Organize weekly meetings to monitor and validate field data;
– Monitors the achievement of project indicators;
– Prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual report of programmatic activities;
– Collaborates closely with the Top Management of ACAFEM;
– Analyze data and display the monthly graphical update of indicators on the wall in the DIC meeting room
– Prepare and participate in SIMS/DQA/RDQA quality assessments
– Collaborate closely with the monitoring and evaluation team CHILL/ CARE;
– Is required to intervene in all areas where its competence will be required within the framework of the project;

Profile
He/she must:
– Have a higher diploma BAC+3 and more training in the associative field or in management of programs and projects) in monitoring and evaluation, IT, statistics or equivalent;
– A minimum of two years’ experience required in monitoring and evaluation, project supervision and management;
– A strong capacity for analysis, mastery and management of data and database;
– Relevant experience in working with local and international NGOs;
– Concrete knowledge on HIV/ in general and key populations in particular;
– A strong ability to work in a team and organizationally;
– Strong communication skills;
– A perfect command of the French language and a good knowledge of English will be an asset;
– Work in strict respect of confidentiality;
– Being able to work under pressure;
– Be available throughout the duration of the project;
– Be tolerant and have a spirit of non-judgment;
– Have a perfect mastery of computer tools (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power point, etc.);
– Be dynamic, honest and innovative;
– Sense of initiative ;
– Respect for the hierarchy;

Schedule and Working Days
o Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a 1 hour break at midday;
o Days: Monday to Friday and Saturdays depending on the results to be achieved
NB: rearrangements of working days and hours are regular
