RECRUITMENT NOTICE

CONTEXT

Cameroon is a beneficiary of the Global Fund grant for the New Funding Model Phase III: “Acceleration of the prevention of new infections among key populations to reduce the rate of morbidity and mortality linked to HIV by 2023”.

In August 2022, Care – Cameroon was notified and selected by the CCM to become the Principal Recipient of the Global Fund HIV/TB community grant.

 




 

In the continuity of the implementation of the said grant, Care – Cameroon will work with Sub-Recipients (SB) which are Care and Health Program, Presse Jeune Développement, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, FESADE and GIZ.

As part of the implementation of this project and in order to provide it with human resources, CARE AND HEALTH PROGRAM (CHP) below designated the SR TS and CTS of BP Care – Cameroon , publishes this recruitment notice for the post below :

Position Title:Health Specialist (HS)/Youth Advisor (1)

 

 

      CDD: 3 months of trial Renewable after evaluation .

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the authority of the National Project Coordinator and the Executive Director The HS will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

 

 

  • Support program management on aspects relating to a specific area;
  • Prepare meetings with health facilities and DICs;
  • Follow up on the activities of the DICs;
  • Ensure the efficient implementation of new strategies: Demedicalized Screening, Self-test, PreP, etc.;
  • Contribute to the updating of training modules;
  • Ensure good documentation of the activities carried out within the health facilities and the DICs;

Support       the national coordinator in the implementation of activities,

  • Follow up on recommendations.
  • Perform all other missions and tasks that may be necessary for the smooth running of the Project, at the request of the central coordination .

Job profile:

  • Have a doctorate in Medicine or a Master 2 in nursing, or any other equivalent diploma;
  • Have a professional experience of at least two (02) years;
  • Have a very good capacity in data collection and the preparation of periodic reports;
  • Have a good command of the computer tool (Excel, word, internet, etc.);
  • Be able to implement recommendations and follow up on community-based activities.
