Works ENGINEER

Main function:
Engineer Works supervisor
Monitoring and administration of the various sites
Writing monthly work reports
Designing schedules of executions
Designing calculation notes
Designing building structure plans
Ensuring the compliance of work carried out
Specialization(s):
Building and civil engineer
Good knowledge of site management
Compliance and quality of work
Ability to manage various trades

 

 

 

Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: Between 150k and 200k depending on experience plus annual bonus
Company description
Camerhouse is a firm incorporated as an SCI (Real Estate Civil Company) under Cameroonian law.
Its vocation is to offer residential construction and real estate development solutions for a
majority diaspora clientele.
Job description:
As a works controller, you will be responsible for monitoring construction sites and the proper execution of
works by the various trades.
– Preparation in conjunction with subcontractors for the start of construction sites
– Verification of quotes and specifications of the phasing of works
– Drafting of contracts for works
– Development of execution plans

 

 

 

– Daily operational monitoring and logistics of construction sites
– Ensure the compliance of works undertaken by the various trades
– Ensure compliance with the work schedule – Supervise the work of partners and subcontractors working on the various sites
– Make regular reports
– Design of structural plans and sizing of buildings in conjunction with the architect
– Coordination of the assembly of files APD techniques for construction projects
Computer skills:
– Office software: MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
– Drawing software: Autocad, Autodesk Suite (Production of plans and structural analysis)
ROBOT, REVIT, LUMION (Production of 3D images and video)
Skills and competencies required :
– Ability to multitask
– Ability to work under pressure
– Be a good leader
– Good communicator
– Enjoy contact with people and collaborate effectively with others
– Demonstrate enthusiasm and discipline
– Good stress management
– Be available for frequent trips to different cities
Academic requirements:
– Ideally Hold at least a degree in Civil Engineering
– Have good skills for mastering Autodesk software and drawings
