Technical-Commercial Manager based in Douala

 

GENERAL TASKS

  • Achieves the objectives of marketing ST services in Douala and neighboring regions.
  • Provides documentation of business transactions.
  • Controls the proper performance of the services provided to customers (collections/removals of WEEE).




 

POSITION SIZE

  • Number of prospects in portfolio.
  • Number of clients in portfolio.
  • Number of annual collections.
  • Annual turnover.

 

MAIN LINKS

  •  Management  : validation of rates, discounts and exceptional requests; real-time maintenance of the Douala and neighboring region commercial database; weekly validation of outing schedules and on-site work periods; validation of proposals for communication or marketing tools; validation of ST messages on social networks; feedback and weekly reports on customer/prospect activity  and on market and competition developments.
  •  Workshop  : coordination of removals; control of products on loading; justification of discrepancies, transmission of required documents.
  •  Accounting : Transactions of initial quotes, signed quotes or proformas and purchase orders; On mandate physical reminder of recoveries.

  • Organizes his travels within the framework defined with the management.
  • Proposes commercial actions specific to customers or products.

TASKS

Leads        _

o    Permanent updating and development of a portfolio of prospects: Companies, administration & public establishments, associations, international institutions & NGOs,…

o    Implementation and management of a contact calendar, physical or remote.

o    Realization of a standard argument.

o    Formalization of the services offered.

o     Development of technical and economic responses adapted to the needs of prospects, regulations and market developments .

o    Regularly activates social networks on ST’s activity and services.

o    Tracks prospects on social media.

Customers        _

o    Activation of the client portfolio of Douala and neighboring regions: Management and implementation of a contact calendar, physical or remote,

o    Realization of a standard argument. formalization of the services offered via the establishment of an estimate,

o    Sale of services: Studying the customer’s needs, proposing services, drawing up quotes, defining an intervention schedule or new contact.

o    Customer follow-up: keep the customer database up to date, specify with the customer the nature and volume of WEEE, produce quotes in coordination with management, schedule removals in coordination with workshops, record, prepare and send the required documents .

o    Product handling: Support for small volumes the removal of WEEE

o    Reception  : Justifies the discrepancies on removals

       Commercial Representation

o     Participation in organized events/seminars for which it will be requested, and implementation of any action aimed at improving and promoting the image of the company and developing its notoriety.

SKILLS

  • Ability to integrate the characteristics of WEEE products, the services offered, the types of treatment of WEEE,
  • Ability to present service offers, to argue and convince, to manage documentary processes (quote, collection slip, proforma, purchase orders, invoice)
  • Master sales techniques: study of the customer’s needs, reformulation,
  • Ability to negotiate

Adapt       his presentation and his personal attitude to the customers

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • BAC+2 or +3 in Marketing, Commerce and similar
  • At least 2 years of experience in B to B commerce

Knowledge       of electrical and electronic equipment

  • In-depth knowledge of the city of Douala and surroundings

TERMS

  • Permanent contract
  • Trial period of two (02) months renewable once

       Full-time work (40 hours per week )

  • Salary made up of a fixed part (120,000 FCFA) and a variable part ( between 100,000 and 300,000 FCFA , depending on the salesperson’s performance).
  • Provision of a monthly telephone plan and an internet connection

Driver’s license       “B” compulsory (vehicle + fuel made available for travel)

More or less       frequent trips to other cities
