of places offered. for the academic year 2023/2024.

Establishments of State Universities of Cameroon and Schools under the academic supervision of MINESUP for the academic year
DECIDED:
Article 1: A competition for the recruitment of two thousand and eighty (2080) students in the 1st year
in the Platforms for Industrial Technologies (MTI), Tertiary Technologies (MTT) and
Information and Digital Technologies (MTIN) of the Initial Training Division of
the University Institute of Technology of the University of Douala will take place on October 03, 2023, under
the academic year 2023/2024.
Article 2: The competition referred to in Article 1 above is open to Cameroonians of the two (02) sexes and
to foreign applicants.

Article 4: The application file must include the following documents:
1) An information sheet duly completed online on the Douala IUT website at
the address: www.iut-douala.cm, then printed and signed by the candidate, and stamped at 1500 FCFA;
2) A certified photocopy of birth certificate dated within the last three (3) months;
3) A certified copy of one of the diplomas giving right to the competition;
4) A school certificate from the final year
5) A medical certificate issued by a civil servant doctor, dating from less than three
(03) months and certifying that the candidate is fit to pursue higher education;
6) Four (04) 4X4 identity photos of the candidate;
7) A bank payment receipt for an amount of twenty thousand (20,000) CFA francs representing
the registration fees for the competition, to be paid to account N 10033 05214 14004000006 CLE 90

8) An A4 envelope (210X297) stamped at 400 CFA francs, bearing the candidate’s address.
9) This competition is open to Cameroonians of both sexes and to foreigners.
Article 5: The complete files will be submitted no later than September 29, 2023, deadline,
in one of the following places:
– MINESUP/Direction of University Accreditations and Quality (DAUQ)
Education Department of the IUT of Douala
– All the regional delegations of the Ministry of Secondary Education of the different
centers listed in article 8

Article 6: The competition is written and will take place on October 03, 2023 at the unique center of Douala_
Article 7: The writing includes the following tests for each specialty:

Article 8: the entrance examination to the 1st year of the University Institute of Technology (IUT) of
1 University of Douala for the academic year 2023/2024 is open at the unique center of Douala.
Article 9: A press release from the Rector of the University of Douala will specify, as necessary, the place and
the schedule for the conduct of the tests.
Article 10: Candidates are invited to present themselves in front of the examination rooms one hour before the start
of the first event, with their national identity card or any other identification document
valid.
Article 11: Following the publication of the results, the definitively admitted candidates will have a period
15 days from the effective start date of the lessons to report to the establishment
in order to complete the registration formalities. After this deadline, those who have not presented themselves at
the establishment will be considered as having resigned and, if necessary, replaced by the candidates
from the waiting list according to the order of merit, by decision of the Minister of Higher Education, on
proposal of the Rector of the University of Douala.
Article 12: The Rector of the University of Douala, the Director of University Accreditations and
Quality. and the Director of IUT of Douala are responsible, each in his own sphere, for the execution
this decision which will be recorded and communicated in French and English wherever necessary./-
