Job title: Sales Intern

Job description:
Under the direction of a Sales officer or other appropriate administrative staff, he/she is
requested to assist sales officers in all their missions.
Education & Experience
▪ University degree. (Sales or Marketing is preferred)
▪ Sales experience or Customer service experience is an advantage

 




 

Requirement & Skills:
▪ Commercial flair
▪ Result oriented
▪ Analytical and problem solving skills
▪ Good interpersonal skills
▪ Communication skills
▪ High level of integrity
▪ English & French languages are mandatory
▪ Local languages ​​are an advantage
▪ Microsoft Office high proficiency
▪ Good IT capabilities & internet usage

 

 

 

Role and responsibilities
▪ Contact & visit prospective customers to determine needs and degree of interest in
company’s product/services
▪ Create and perform sales presentations to match company’s products/services with
identified needs
▪ Build and maintain excellent relationship with customers
▪ Ensure customer satisfaction
▪ Contribute to the marketing strategy implementation
▪ Builds and improve knowledge of company’s products/services
▪ Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required
▪ Effective market intelligence: competitors, customers’ dynamics, socio-political
environment, economic outlook, etc.
▪ Follow up campaigns and customer satisfaction surveys
▪ Communicate company message to customers
▪ Improve brand perception by customers, suppliers and competitors
▪ Ensure compliance with sales processes, policy and ethics
▪ Full adherence to corporate values ​​and ways of doing business
▪ Active participation in all marketing events, and promoting the company’s brand and image.

 

 

Objectives and KPIs:
Weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
Weekly work-schedule compliance.
