Job Title: Copywriter
Job Summary
The Copywriter is responsible for developing creative and strategic copy that
effectively communicates the brand message, promotes products or services and drives customer engagement
. He works closely with the marketing team, designers and other stakeholders to
ensure consistency of brand message across all channels and platforms. It plays a
crucial role in creating compelling, persuasive and engaging written content for various
marketing and advertising materials.
Missions and Duties
The professional responsibilities of the Copywriter may include:
1. Content Creation: Develop clear, concise and compelling copy for a wide range of
marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, landing pages,
social media posts, email campaigns, print ads,
product descriptions and blog posts.
2. Brand message: Understand and respect the voice, tone and style guidelines of the brand,
ensuring consistency in all written communications. 3. Research: Conduct in-depth research to better understand the target audience, industry
trends , competitors, and product and service characteristics to back up your writing.
4. Editing and proofreading: Review and edit text for accuracy, grammatical correctness,
adherence to brand guidelines, and alignment with project goals.
5. Collaborative approach: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as designers
, marketers, and subject matter experts, to ensure alignment of text with
overall marketing strategies and goals.
6. Creative Conceptualization: Generate innovative and impactful ideas for
marketing campaigns, titles, keywords and slogans that capture the attention of the target audience.
7. SEO Optimization: Incorporate relevant keywords and SEO best practices
into your copy to improve organic search engine rankings and
increase website traffic.
8. Adaptability: Understand and quickly adapt to new industries,
target markets, and brand personas to produce effective copy that resonates with
different audiences.
9. Deadlines and Priorities: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and
effectively prioritizing workload.
10. Continuous Learning: Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices and
emerging technologies to improve writing skills and bring
innovative ideas to the team.
Level and Requirements
– Bacc +2/3 in marketing, communication or a related field
– Two years minimum in a similar position
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
– Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Solid knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Bilingual
WORK HOURS:
• Monday to Friday
• Sometimes Saturdays depending on business needs.
REMUNERATION:
