1) Job Description

We are looking for a Community Manager Intern in Douala to
continuously improve and optimize all processes.

2) Responsibilities of the Intern – Community Manager

He is the representative of the company on the web. As such, it contributes to the development of the
company’s reputation and its e-reputation. Its role is to federate and manage the community
Internet users around the brand and the company’s products via the animation of
social networks.

 

 

3) Missions of the Intern – Community Manager

Carry out a permanent watch on what is said about the brand of the company, on the reputation it has and also monitor the competition and the news;
Define the company’s digital strategy. It is a question of defining a set of actions to achieve a result, setting objectives such as the number of subscribers, positioning, number of conversations etc….
Define the editorial line of the company on social networks;
Feed social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram by generating content (articles, contests, images, sounds, newsletter, etc.) the main objective of this content being to create engagement that can generate interaction with potential customers;
Find useful relays (bloggers) to share company information with new audiences;
Create contests, transcribe lives directly on social networks;
Position its articles well on the web so that it has good visibility and generate traffic
Contribute to the development and implementation of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools;
Contribute to the digitalization of the company’s services;
Coordinate the updating of the website.

 

 

 

4) Requirements:

Experience as a Community Manager will be an asset;
Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g. setting up an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating a series of events and promotional campaigns);
Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat event attendance);
Excellent verbal communication skills;
Excellent writing skills;
Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics;
Knowledge of online marketing and advertising channels;
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks;
Degree in marketing or related field.
