Function: Legal Manager
MAIN MISSION
The main mission of the Legal Manager will be to provide operational and functional staff with the legal support they need in order to protect the company from a legal standpoint.
SPECIFIC MISSIONS
- Manage various disputes
- Ensure the role of internal legal adviser to the General Management, the various Departments of the head office and the subsidiaries
- Guarantee the legality of the operations carried out by the company and its subsidiaries
- Guarantee the legal protection of CIMENCAM managers
- Ensure the legal follow-up of the current operations carried out by CIMENCAM
- Provide direct assistance through its presence during negotiations
- Contribute, through the relevance of its advice, to obtaining the best legal, tax and financial compromises
- Follow the evolution of legislation and regulations in the fields of safety, security, social, commercial, civil, transport, international, insurance, ecological, environmental… and concerning the products, methods, means and techniques of the company. Ensure their application
- Engage, in certain cases, in prior agreement with the hierarchy, litigation to preserve the interests of CIMENCAM and its subsidiaries;
- Keep informed of the legal and financial structures of each case and their developments, through frequent contact with operational and functional managers
- Identify in due time legal difficulties likely to cause harm to CIMENCAM or its subsidiaries and take the necessary corrective actions
- Identify, propose and possibly conduct any study or legal audit on a point that it deems necessary
- Implement the compliance and ethics program of the Holcim Group within CIMENCAM (training, investigations, communications, etc.).
PROFILE
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Bac+5 in Law or Legal Sciences
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in business, civil, social, transport, compliance and ethics law
- Good knowledge of OHADA procedures
- Having an experience of at least 3 years in an international group or a consulting firm would be an asset.
