TECHNICAL-COMMERCIAL (F/M) – SOFITOUL SA

As part of its development plan, SOCIETE FINANCIERE DE TOURISME ET DE LOISIRS (SOFITOUL SA) , IATA approved tour operator, leader in the tourism industry in Cameroon and in the CEMAC zone is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of a:  TECHNICAL-COMMERCIAL

 




 

Place of affection : Yaoundé

Duties:

The technical sales representative is a seller of company goods and services (vehicle rental, tourist products, and events). He must know at his fingertips the services sold by the company and master the techniques of sale.

As such, he must:

  • Develop the customer portfolio in a specific geographical area: prospecting (research) for new customers (“prospects” individuals or professionals), loyalty of existing customers, monitoring of predefined sales objectives, definition of the tour plan.

 

 

  • Analyze the customer’s needs, translate the customer’s specifications for the appropriate technical-commercial proposal (feasibility, planning and costs), negotiation, order follow-up, invoicing, recovery and collection.
  • Report market information to his hierarchy and to the department in charge of strategy and marketing.
  • Participate in the company’s commercial policy: strategic watch, commercial action plans, development of the offer of goods and services.

Hierarchic reattachment

  • The sales technician has a triple reporting line. He reports administratively to the Head of Agency and functionally to the Head of Service Sof’Tour & Event, and Sof’Car.

Education / Training : Bac + 2/3 in Marketing / commerce / sales;

Professional experience:  Minimum 2 years of experience in the sale of vehicle rental services.

Specific skills :

  • Fine negotiator and very good mastery of sales techniques (canvassing, negotiation, sale, estimate, invoicing, etc.);
  • Expert in Sof’Car products (vehicle rental);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, very good listening skills, and a competitive spirit;
  • Use of office software (diary, email, spreadsheet, word processing, etc.);
  • Very good knowledge of its market.

 

 

Transversal skills :

  • Demonstrate rigor and organization;
  • Enjoy working in a team;
  • Autonomous ;
  • Synthesis and analysis skills.
