Job Objectives

To ensure accuracy of entries into all of the company’s financial accounts, including portfolio and mutual fund accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure processes for monitoring budget are monitored and properly implemented.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with the Bank’s and regulatory accepted policies and procedures
• Ensure all accounts are appropriately mapped and reporting to the right GL
• Implements the approved procedure for management and reporting of journal entries for the different managed portfolios of the organization.
• Responsible for partnering with the investment department in the investment of company funds.
• Constant review of the expense, revenue and other components of the annual budget to determine the accurate financial position at all times.
• Weekly and monthly analytical reviews on key income and expense heads.
• Responsible for preparing all financial regulatory reports in the country office.

Qualification required:

• A first Degree in Accounting,
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or applicable accounting certification within country will be an added advantage

Experience required:

• Minimum of 2 years accounting work experience
