We are recruiting A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (BDM) (M/F)

HIERACHICAL SUPERVISOR: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER / GENERAL MANAGER REGION
ACTIVITY SECTOR: BREWERY
PLACE OF WORK: DOUALA / YAOUNDE

ASSIGNMENTS:
• Ensure the development and implementation of the zone’s commercial plan.
• Achieve volume, market share, coverage and distribution targets as agreed in our market strategy.
• Ensure the recruitment and development of distribution partners (Wholesalers)
• Ensure a “win-win” relationship between UCB, its distributors and wholesalers
• Build a strong relationship with market partners.
• Optimize distribution costs in the area of expertise
REQUIRED SKILLS
KNOW
• Academic level: Baccalaureate + 5 (preferably MBA) in Marketing, Sales or Management
• Professional experience: 05 years of minimum experience with reference in a sales or marketing executive position (Managing teams and/or distribution partners is an asset)
EXPERTISE
• Experience in FMCG marketing, preferably experience with a brewing industry as a manager of different types of customers (B2B).
• Strategic vision
• Good understanding of large assemblies (MACRO-PESTEL-SWOT etc)
• Bilingual French / English is an advantage.
• Holder of at least a B license with driving experience.
• Mastery of sales team management.
• Technique for establishing travel plans.
• Able to understand and interpret key financial reports
• Basic coaching skills
• Computer skills (Microsoft)
KNOW-HOW
• Force of proposal and initiative
• Has the leadership skills to motivate the sales force and achieve the objectives set
• Rigor, sense of organization and work autonomy
• Sense of priorities and organization
• Ability to adapt to changes, to deal with emergency situations
• Dynamic and able to work technically under pressure
