Recruitment notice: 32,059 CENSUS AGENTS 4th RGPH General Population and Housing Census and RGAE

As part of the shared data collection operations for the main count of the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing (4th RGPH) and the basic module of the General Census of Agriculture and Livestock (RGAE), the National Coordination of the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing (4th RGPH) and that of the General Census of Agriculture and Livestock (RGAE) are recruiting thirty-two thousand fifty-nine (32,059) Cameroonians ( es), as Census Agent .

Type of Contract :

Fixed-term contract (CDD).

Missions and responsibilities:

Placed under the supervision of the National Coordinations of the Fourth General Census of Population and Housing and the General Census of Agriculture and Livestock, the Enumerator’s roles are to:

• draw up a list of households in its Enumeration Area;
• administer questionnaires in households;
• transfer the data to the Team Leader.

Profile of candidates:

The candidate must:

• Be of Cameroonian nationality;
• Be at least 18 years old and 40 years old at most as of January 1 of the current year;
• have at least a Baccalaureate diploma, GCE A/L or any other equivalent diploma;
• Be physically fit;
• Master at least one of the local languages ​​spoken in the District requested for collection;
• Be available during the entire period of the operation.
• Know how to use a telephone with android system;

Having experience in the field of census or statistical survey would be an asset.

Place and deadline for submission of files:

The submission of pre-selection applications is only done online by completing the form available at https://www.census-cameroon.com/fr/application_ag.php   no later than September 15, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. However, for candidates from arrondissements not covered by the Internet, registration is done on a physical information sheet, duly completed and submitted to the Sub-Prefecture concerned. This information sheet is available in the Sub-prefectures and District Delegations of MINADER and MINEPIA concerned.

Only pre-selected candidates must submit a physical file.

Application file:

Pre-selected candidates will be authorized to follow training and must provide a file including the following documents:

• a stamped request addressed to the National Coordinators of the 4th RGPH and the RGAE;
• a Curriculum Vitae attesting to experience in collecting statistical data;
• a photocopy of the valid National Identity Card or the valid temporary identity document (receipt) legalized at the police station;
• a photocopy of the highest diploma;
• a medical certificate issued by a qualified doctor dating back less than three months attesting to the ability to carry out field work;
• photocopies of documents attesting to experience in collecting statistical data, if applicable.

NB: For Public Agent candidates, the authorization of the hierarchy is required.

All pre-selected candidates must present themselves on the first day of training with their complete application file. This training will take place for 31 days in all the main towns of the Arrondissements on a date that will be communicated to them at the appropriate time.

NB:

• any candidate who solicits several boroughs will see his candidacy rejected;
• any file that is incomplete or contains false documents will be purely and simply rejected.
• any candidate who has registered to respond to the 2021 call for applications must register again
