SURGERY POSITION GRADE: NO-B
DURATION: 02 months renewable depending on availability of funding
LOCATIONS OF ASSIGNMENT: Mada

JOB DESCRIPTION
Since 2015, insecurity linked to Boko Haram attacks in the Lake Chad basin as well as military operations to deal with them have led to a massive influx of refugees and internally displaced people in Cameroon in the Far North Region. The recent attack by a non-state armed group led to the destruction of the Mada District Hospital, resulting in several services becoming non-functional.
Thanks to the ICRC’s contribution, the hospital has been rehabilitated and there is a need to strengthen the surgical capacities of hospital staff which must be taken care of.
