ECOBANK CAMEROUN SA is recruiting for the needs of its services, ONE (01) Senior Finance Officer – Performance Management & MIS who can practice throughout the national territory.

This position is based in Douala. Job level: 8 Job grade: 4B

I. OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

 Take the lead for the development, consolidation and monitoring of the budget process
 Ensure the development and compliance with expenditure and investment procedures
 Monitor performance reporting by Segment, Client and by Agency
 Subscribe the analytical review, management control and market analysis
 Ensure competitive intelligence and proper implementation of banking conditions
 Assist the CFO in the preparation of the reports of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly

II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 Write the monthly performance analysis report by Business Units, by customer and Agencies
 Ensure management control and processing of purchase requests
 Ensure the proper implementation of bank conditions
 Manage monthly provisions , depreciation and prepaid expenses
 Manage the bank’s fixed assets register and follow the CAPEX budget
 Ensure the reliability of the information on expenses and income contained in the financial statements
 Make the monthly analytical review of the accounts (balance sheet , expenses and income)
 Take the lead and follow-up of the budget process with the business Units & products
 Reporting of the performance of the Business Units, products, customers and agencies.
 Prepare and take the lead on the Marketing and Business Review Committee
 Ensure the updating of the MIS (Management Information System) of customers
 Monitor the setting of new bank products in the operating system
 Monitor the development and compliance with procedures in this area
 Monitor performance reporting by Segment, Client, product and by Agencies,
 Subscribe to the analytical review, management control and market analysis
 Assist the CFO in the preparation of reports from the Board of Directors and the GA
 Other tasks entrusted by the CFO

• Chief Financial Officer

• Performance Management, Reporting, Tax and Ledger Management Team (Local, Region and Group)

IV. JOB PROFILE

Experience  5 years’ experience in banking finance or in a similar position.
 Very good command of Microsoft Office, be comfortable with figures, personal and managerial technical qualities, good experience in the business, banking products and the processing of performance reporting and presentations.

Education
• Have a bachelor’s degree, MBA or a Bac+4 or Bac+5 training in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Banking,
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
• Being a chartered accountant
