Job Description:
As a part-time IT Specialist at Vicky K consulting, you will play a vital role in supporting our IT operations. You will work to ensure the proper functioning of our systems, resolve technical issues and contribute to the implementation of new solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain our websites and web applications by ensuring their performance, security and user-friendliness.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create attractive and functional web pages.
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, both in person and remotely.
- Manage the inventory and maintenance of the company’s computer equipment.
- Propose improvements and innovative solutions to optimize computer systems.
- Diagnose and resolve computer problems, both hardware and software.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of IT equipment.
- Install, configure and update software and operating systems.
- Manage and resolve user IT support requests.
- Installing, configuring and updating surveillance cameras is an asset
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in IT support or system administration.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Demonstrated experience in developing websites and web applications, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. is an asset
- Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Have a spirit of initiative and a strong orientation towards results.
- Availability to work 20 hours per week.
- Passion for the travel industry is a plus.
