RECRUITMENT OF A FOOD TECHNICO-COMMERCIAL

The Food Sales Technician promotes and sells Compagnie Fermière du Cameroun products in its sector of activity and provides technical support to farmers.

Hierarchical reporting:  He/she reports directly to the Production Director

 

 

 




 

FUNCTIONAL RELATIONS

With the CFC

  • The Production Director

With external stakeholders

  • CFC customers

LOCATION

  • The Food Sales Technician carries out its activities in all towns in Cameroon where the need to sell CFC products will be felt. It has an operational office at the site of the CFC factory in Mbankomo

POSITION SPECIFICITIES

The food sales representative visits his regular customers, members of the cooperative, as well as targeted prospects, according to different objectives:

  • He answers phone calls and schedules appointments.
  • He prepares his visits for the day (farmer details, prices, etc.) and sets the objectives to achieve.
  • He promotes product ranges, offers them and presents prices to his customers or prospects.
  • He provides technical support on request following a difficulty (poor corn harvest, rationing calculations, etc.).
  • He supports the farmer in the use of the products sold by monitoring the smooth running of operations on site.

 

 

 

The food sales representative applies the commercial policy of his group and manages recovery:

  • He applies the fixed rates.
  • He sets up the recovery system in conjunction with the financial manager of his company.
  • He manages the collection of payments and, if necessary, sends invoice reminders.

The food sales representative ensures the transmission of information:

  • He informs himself and trains himself on the technical, economic and commercial developments necessary for his work.
  • It informs farmers of these developments and mobilizes them for meetings around technical themes.
  • He reports information on these activities to the sales manager.
  • The technical sales representative can also take responsibility for or run the depot to which he is attached. In this case, he ensures collection (reception, storage and conservation of products) and supervises the warehouse workers on a daily basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BTS  Analysis and management of operating systems
  • BTS  Agronomy – Plant production or Animal production
  • CS specialization certificate  Technical-commercial manager: agrosupplies
  • BTS  Technico-commercial, agrosupplies specialty
  • Undergraduate diploma  in commercial techniques

REQUIRED QUALITIES

  • Very good writing and speaking skills
  • Rigor, sense of organization and work autonomy
  • Sense of priorities
  • Sense of organization
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Ability to report on one’s activity in a spontaneous and synthetic manner
  • Ability to adapt to changes, to deal with emergency situations
  • Know how to manage your assets
