RECRUITMENT OF A SALES MANAGER

Compagnie Fermière Camerounaise (CFC), is a subsidiary of the SOMDIAA group. Looking for an experienced sales manager for its operating needs.

PURPOSES OF THE POSITION

The CFC will offer for sale a whole range of products from these different units.

The Head of the CFC commercial department ensures the proper marketing of the various products and manages a team to support him in this task.

 

 

 




 

JOB ENVIRONMENT/HIERARCHICAL POSITIONING OF THE JOB

  • Hierarchical reporting: It is directly under the responsibility of the CFC Operations Department.
  • Hierarchical command: He provides hierarchical command over the entire technical-commercial team and sales administration, i.e. 7 people.

FUNCTIONAL RELATIONS

With the CFC

  • The CFC sales team
  • Operations Management
  • The Industrial Department
  • Human Resources Management

 

 

 

With external stakeholders

  • CFC customers (Breweries, Supermarkets, Breeders, Food Manufacturers, etc.)
  • Service providers ensuring the transport of goods

LOCATION:  The Sales Department Manager carries out his activities in Mbankomo, in the CFC offices, and is required to travel to the region, particularly to the Center, the Littoral and the West.

POSITION SPECIFICITIES

The Sales Department Manager:

  • Manages large customer accounts;
  • Develops the customer portfolio for the different activities, i.e. sales of gritz, flour, corn mill co-products, animal feed and day-old chicks;
  • Manage a team of salespeople and technicians stationed in the field focused on animal feed and chicks;
  • Implements and monitors the Customer Relationship Management tool (Sugar);
  • Participates in defining the product offering; the implementation of the pricing policy and marketing tools in agreement with General Management;
  • Controls customer accounts and collections;
  • Ensures competitive intelligence on different products;
  • Participates in the development of budgets and the definition of sales objectives and commercial strategy.

 

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Higher studies of commerce – marketing
  • Successful commercial experience in the food industry
  • Mastery of standard office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Languages: French

REQUIRED QUALITIES

  • Easy contact with various contacts;
  • Autonomy and organization;
  • Ability to persuade;
  • Sense of hearing ;
  • Managerial capacity;
  • Rigor in work.
