Context
Impact Santé Afrique (ISA) is a non-governmental organization based in Cameroon whose
main objective is to contribute to improving the health of populations by implementing
transformative and sustainable programs (for more For information, visit
www.impactsante.org). As part of the “Equity Access Palu” project funded by the Initiative
over a period of 3 years (November 6, 2023 – October 31, 2026), renewable. This project aims
to strengthen community engagement in the fight against malaria. ISA is
therefore looking for a Regional Supervisor for the two regions of the West and the East.
Job description
Under the responsibility of the project coordinator, the West/East regional supervisor will assume
the following functions and responsibilities:
Main Missions:
The West/East regional supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the activities implemented by
ISA, and its sub-recipients (Project Civil Society Organizations in the
Western and Eastern regions), with a focus on delivery of interventions and quality assurance
Datas. He/she will support a culture and practice of very high quality project monitoring, accountability and reporting
.

 

 

Responsibilities :
More specifically, he or she will be responsible for:
 Ensuring the implementation of activities in the Health Districts of the regions concerned
;
 Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of the advocacy strategy targeting
key stakeholders at the community and regional level;
 Ensure the involvement of community leaders, administrative and religious authorities
in the project;
 Ensure coordination and supervision of community organizations/organizations
Civil Society (CSO) from the West/East regions;
 Ensure close collaboration with the relevant Health District in each region
as well as other key players in the Health System identified by the
National Malaria Control Program;
 Collect, analyze data and provide project performance indicators;
 Ensure quality control of all project activities in the Health Districts
of the regions concerned;
 Collection of monthly data, monthly and quarterly project reports;
 Participation in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring meetings

 Preparation of high quality weekly, monthly and quarterly
project reports;

 

 

 Supervise and train CSOs in the West/East regions;
 Organize and participate in Coordination meetings between project stakeholders;
 Ensure the documentation of best practices and key results for
learning and capitalization purposes;
 Produce information to track and describe progress in
project implementation and strategies against objectives and key milestones;
 Participate in the needs assessment and capacity building of
local actors;
 Any other task assigned by ISA as part of this project;
Representation
 Represent ISA in coordination meetings and any other project activities at the
regional level;
Qualifications:
 Minimum bachelor level.
 Minimum of 2 years of experience in a position related to the implementation or monitoring
of projects.
 Computer literacy with use of Ms Office Word software
 Knowledge, skills and experience with participatory survey/research methods
.
 Communication skills; oral, written and presentation skills in
French.
 Team spirit.
 Ability to work autonomously, independently and under pressure.
 Sense of a job well done
 Being professional.
