JOB: Technico-Commercial  – Cimaf Cameroon

CIMAF Cameroun SA , a major player in the production and marketing of cement, is recruiting a Technical Sales Representative, CDI based in Douala, Cameroon.

Mission of the position  :

The Technical Sales Representative contributes to the development of turnover and the profitability of the product mix by strengthening and supporting the customer portfolio. He collaborates closely with the various departments (production, quality, marketing, ADV, etc.). He guides and advises customers on the technical aspects of the product/service in understanding their needs. He also responds to specific requests from the sales director by setting up Ad Hoc studies.

 




 

Key Responsibilities  :

  • Develops the portfolio by prospecting new customers and retaining existing customers;
  • Supports the sales force in achieving turnover;
  • Ensures regular visits to customers in order to listen to and anticipate their needs, develops and proposes to his hierarchy the implementation of action plans to achieve his objectives;
  • Orients and advises customers on the technical aspects of the product/service in order to facilitate understanding of needs;
  • Analyzes customer difficulties in order to provide solutions;
  • Produces technical offers and makes financial proposals to the Sales Director;
  • Manages customer complaints in relation to cross-functional teams (laboratory, logistics, production, ADV, QSE, etc.);
  • Reports data concerning the market to the hierarchy and the marketing manager;
  • Participates in the development of the marketing plan and commercial strategy;
  • Carry out prescription actions with masons, architects, BET (technical design offices and control bodies);
  • Ensures regular reporting to management;
  • Respect and enforce the CIMAF code of conduct and the various management procedures;
  • Respects and enforces CIMAF’s safety, health and environmental policy.

 

 

 

Profile  :

  • Minimum Bac +2/3 in civil engineering;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a civil engineering or technical sales technician position;
  • Basic knowledge of sales and marketing techniques;
  • Knowledge of cement;
  • Ability to manage teams;
  • Good communication and influencing skills;
  • Use of basic computer tools.
