L. Context and rationale
The AZIMA project, funded by AIDS and Rights for Southern Africa (ARASA). has the main objective of filling the gaps in the Global Fund project and strengthening the knowledge and involvement of the most vulnerable populations affected by HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in the Global Fund financing processes. To implement the activities of this project, Affirmative Action (ACT), as a recipient of the Global Fund for targets MSM (men who have sex with men), TG (transgender), DU (drug users ) and IDU (injecting drug users), was selected.

 

 

In a results-based management approach, the AZIMA project provides in its specifications to recruit a consultant to produce a capitalization document for the AZIMA project. This activity is part of a logic of recovering and documenting knowledge. lessons, good practices and lessons learned throughout the implementation of the project. It aims to consolidate this information and make it accessible to all stakeholders concerned. in order to improve processes, optimize results and promote the sustainability of achievements. In short, the capitalization of the AZIMA project will make it possible to make the most of the lessons learned from experience. optimize results and foster learning and innovation within the organization and stakeholders.

To this end, Affirmative Action follows the recruitment process in accordance with its procedures manual. intends to recruit a consultant to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of activities and the level of achievement of the objectives that have been set. The objective is to have an overall view of achievements, weak points and possible improvements.

The main objective of this capitalization mission is to recruit a consultant who will be able to exhaustively document the achievements, challenges, good practices and lessons learned of the AZIMA project with a view to disseminating them to a wider audience. wide. So that this capitalization serves as a reference to guide future initiatives in the same areas as those of the AZIMA project.

Profile of the consultant
Given the nature of the mission, the consultant should meet the following profile
Hold a higher education diploma, minimum BAC+3 in project evaluation, social sciences, sociology of development, Planning of development programs or any other equivalent or relevant diploma;
Have strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex technical and social information;
Have excellent report writing skills;
Have experience in conducting investigations;
Have excellent written and oral communication skills;
Have good experience working with multidisciplinary teams and varied stakeholders;
Have a good command of French and/or English.
