Missions & Main Activities

Implement actions enabling the evolution of the network through the configuration, sizing, optimization of the operation of existing FH/FO/VSAT networks and mass-market business connectivity; as well as monitoring extensions and deployment of new FH/FO/VSAT/B2B sites

• Design end-to-end network integration architectures for new sites according to programs validated by Business.
• Ensure alignment of Transport network equipment software with the latest versions available and validated by the Group.
• Develop and monitor the execution of the Transmission Master Plan on the FH, FO and VSAT segments.

Produce reference documentation

• For each operation to modify the network architecture, produce Work Orders (TO).
• Validate, document and archive FH, FO and VSAT Designs: survey reports, Preliminary Network Design (PND) and Shuttle Sheets (FN) Trans.
• Maintain infrastructure sharing documents with other partner operators.
• Share on a monthly and/or quarterly basis the real photo of the Transmission network to the Departments and requesting entities.

 Propose  and  update the network architecture in your field ( FH/  FO        /VSAT/ B2B )

• Systematically update the architecture of FH, FO, VSAT and B2B networks after each modification. And share it quarterly with operational teams.
• Ensure the strict updating of the supervision and management systems of the FH, FO, VSAT and B2B networks: Network Services Platform, Network Functions Manager-Packet (NSP NFM-P), i-Monitor.
• Design and maintain documents allowing easy and efficient operation of the network such as wiring diagrams, the topology of subsystem equipment or any other documents.

 Perform medium- and long- term resource usage forecasts

• Monitor equipment quality and load indicators and produce a Capacity Management Dashboard to be presented weekly.
• Size resources (processors, interfaces, equipment)
• Manage network capacity extensions.

 Monitor technological developments in  target areas

• Actively participate in workshops organized by partners in the field of FH, FO, VAT and B2B.
• Organize trials and/or Proof Of Concept (PoC) Concepts for new technologies and evaluate them technically.
• Evaluate (or coordinate the evaluation) the impacts of a new architecture on the existing one.

Participate in the implementation of the strategic plan for FH/FO/VSAT/B2B systems

• Develop functional and organic architectures based on the needs of the services and a set of given constraints: cost, sizing, availability of functions, Group planning rules, carbon footprint.
• Summarize the constraints and different knowledge: network techniques, performance, QoS.
• Present, defend and validate architectural choices and ensure their documentation.

 Develop and monitor budget execution

• Participate in the development of the budget for year n+1 in the FH, FO, VSAT and B2B scope.
• Manage projects by challenging service providers.
• Determine monthly achievement forecasts and communicate them to the PMOs.
• Issue Verbal Reports (PVs) and Work Orders (OT) for monthly reception of the work.
• Monitor the project until service providers are paid.

  Ensure technological and competitive monitoring

• Actively participate in the analysis of MEA’s half-yearly Benchmarks
• Take part in workshops, seminars, workshops, conferences organized by government institutions: PRC, PM, MINPOSTEL, ART, and International Telecommunications Union (ITU), etc.
• Make the information the regulator needs available and up to date
• Systematically report information from competitors’ technological footprint.

Ensure the management of the life cycle of equipment taking into account: manufacturers’ recommendations as well as the  group ‘s trends and recommendations

• Propose improvement solutions (propose their harmonious integration into the existing network).
• Align software and hardware with validated Roadmaps by integrating their carbon footprint into the sizing and the Oscar project for reuse.

Qualifications

Training :  Bac + 5 in Networks & Telecoms Engineering or IT or electricity

Experience :  1 year minimum in the telecommunications sector and in particular GSM
