Main
objective and
tasks
The Field Monitor oversees the smooth implementation of all CBT assistance
related activities under the supervision of the Project Manager. S/he will ensure
that the activities are delivered timely and compliant to the donor’s and
INTERSOS’ policies and requirements. S/he is also in charge of the supervision of
the community volunteers/mobilizers and manages the interaction with
community-level stakeholders.
1. Community Mobilization
Explains and ensures the acceptance of INTERSOS’ activities and
builds positive relationships with community volunteers/mobilizers and
members of the different committees involved iiiiiin project activities.
Ensures community volunteers/mobilizers are properly informed and
supervises their work.
Ensure proper community mobilization and sensitization is done
with community members within the implementation area,
ensuring that the operations are inclusive towards gender,
disability, and other vulnerability criteria.
Relays issues and concerns raised by the community stakeholders to the
project manager.
2. Cash Transfer site management
Organizes pre- and post-distribution sensitization sessions to raise the
community’s awareness on the distribution operation.
Ensures that the final exchange/identification point is accessible,
inclusive, and safe for staff and beneficiaries.
Ensures that delivery deadlines are respected.
Ensures that each beneficiary has clear access to their entitlements.

 

Ensures that complaints and feedback are considered and processed
with the full support of the relevant committee and community
volunteer/mobilizer.
Proposes ways to improve the distribution process.
Relays issues, concerns raised by the community volunteers,
beneficiaries, and committeemembers to the project manager.
Prepares and timely submits distribution reports, meeting
minutes, and weekly reports to the project manager.
Provides information on activities as requested by the Project Manager or
M&E team.
Assists in obtaining the informed consent of the beneficiaries for success
stories.
Collects quality and documented pictures of operations and ensures their
proper archiving.
Verifies the consistency and quality of the information provided by
the team of communitymobilizers and ensures its compilation and
validation by the Project Manager.
Engages the community stakeholders in using the complaint
mechanism tools to reportmisbehavior, fraud, and abuse.
Ensures that committees are functional, accessible, and reliable.
Ensures the appropriate and diligent processing of any
complaint raised by thebeneficiaries or any stakeholder.
Through the keeping of a register, the advertising of the complaint
boxes, helpline numbers, ensures that beneficiaries’ opinions and
suggestions on project activities areconsidered.

 




 

3. Data management
Assists with data collection, surveys, and reporting.
Ensures the quality of the data collected is good and submitted on
time to the ProjectManager.
Ensures that forms, lists, and other paper documents are properly filled,
signed, and archived, both physically and electronically.

Educational
and
professional
experience
required
University diploma in social sciences, management, agronomy / rural
development and any related scientific field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a humanitarian context, in an association,
NGO or INGO, with at least 6 months of
field work experience in the NW or
SW regions during the context of crisis
Proven work experience in CBT modality in a similar context would be an asset
Experience working and / or collaborating on a WFP project would be an asset

IT: Basic functional Knowledge of
o Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook),
o Mainstream web navigators (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge,
Mozilla Firefox)
Good redactional skills
Languages Fluency in both written and oral formal English
Fluency in Pidgin English
