As part of the implementation of its projects in the EST Region , ALDEPA is seeking the services of competent, experienced and dynamic people to fill the vacancies mentioned above.

 




 

Objective I Job summary.
The Field Supervisor is under the supervision of the Project Manager and works in collaboration with the Municipality and implementation partners to achieve the project objectives. It will contribute to the completion of the following tasks.
FUNCTIONS
Task 1: Activities related to OS1 and RI. Water-Hygiene-Sanitation (WASH)
Participate in activities related to the establishment of the water point micro-insurance system,
Support/strengthen awareness activities for CGPEs and community members on the importance of adhering to micro-insurance of water points;
> Participate in special day activities related to WASH (international handwashing day; World Water Day; etc.);
> Participate in training/retraining sessions for municipal agents on the CGPE and the operation of the water point micro-insurance system;
Participate in monthly/quarterly drilling microinsurance meetings; Etc.
Task 2: Activities related to OS2. And the R2. Gender and Financial Inclusion:
> Conduct awareness sessions for members and community leaders on the importance of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs);
> Lead activities to implement new VSLAs and revitalize old VSLAs;
> Ensure monitoring and collection of data from weekly meetings of VSLA groups;
> Ensure the quality of financial data collected within VSLA groups;

Support municipalities in monitoring and reporting activities related to the operation of Functional Literacy Centers (CAF);
Support awareness raising and structuring of young TICOM people into WITH groups,
> Ensure reporting of the weekly activities of the WITH groups;
> Support activities related to networking of VSLA groups;
Support the process of legalization of groups WITH;
> Ensure the supervision and reporting of the progress of the activities of holding weekly meetings of the VSLA groups; Participate in VSLA network meetings; > Etc.
Task 3:Activities related to OS3 and R3. Governance :
Participate in the organization of CCODES meetings,
Support the monitoring of recommendations from the CCODES;
Compile and summarize project activities and present them at
CCODES meetings;

 




 

Support the establishment/revitalization of multi-actor consultation frameworks (CCODES) at the municipal level;
> Participate in meetings / training workshops for members and actors of the Union of Communes of Kadey (SYNCOKAD);
> Participate in activities related to supporting municipalities in the evaluation of Medium-Term Expenditure Frameworks (MTEF) with a view to developing Annual Investment Plans (PIA);
Implement the activities planned in their performance framework;
Actively participate in quarterly monitoring-evaluation meetings of activities arising from their performance framework;
> Participate in quarterly/semi-annual monitoring-evaluation meetings of the capacity building plan of partner municipalities; > Etc.
Task 4: Transversal activities
> Participate in data collection activities for the basic study (base line), mid-term evaluation (midline) and final evaluation/capitalization (end line) of the SOLID project •
> Participate in the training of partners on the Social Analysis and Action (SAA) tool •
> Participate in the implementation of activities resulting from the project’s gender action plan; Participate in monitoring-evaluation meetings of project activities (monthly/quarterly coordination);
Participate in exchange visits/experience sharing which will be organized as part of the SOLID Project, etc.
Profile sought:
> Hold a higher diploma (at least Bac + 3) in social sciences or any other equivalent diploma;

> Good mastery of themes related to the protection and prevention of GBV, Mental Health and psychosocial support
Having professional experience in an NGO is an asset
> Having analytical and synthesis skills
Community development experience of at least 2 years years
> Experience working with populations in situations of great economic and social precariousness
Adaptability to a context with security constraints
Good Ability to manage stress
Speaking French, Fufuldé and other local languages ​​of the area Required qualities:
> Ability to work under pressure and to collaborate
> Good capacity for initiative
> Good teaching and negotiation skills
> Mastery of the Office pack (Word, Excel, Power Point),and internet
