Job Title: DRIVER (M/F)
Project: Community Resilience Support Program in
Cameroon (PARC-Cameroon)

FHI 360 is currently recruiting a Driver (M/F) for the Community Resilience Support Program
in Cameroon (PARC-Cameroon), funded by USAID. PARCCameroun supports the strengthening of institutional capacities of community organizations. local civil society in Cameroon so that they can better represent and serve their
communities and contribute to the achievement of their development goals at the
community level.
JOB SUMMARY
The Driver position will be based in Yaoundé, Central Region and will report to the Director
of Administration and Finance. He/she will be responsible for all activities related to the
management of assigned vehicles.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Under the direction of the Director of Administration and Finance and the
Operations and Finance Manager, the Driver is expected to provide a variety of
transportation services for the project.
• Transport FHI 360 staff and consultants to designated and
approved locations.
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness, security and maintenance of vehicles assigned to the
project.
• Ensure daily maintenance of assigned vehicles by carrying out minor repairs
in a timely manner, arranging for repairs
major, performing timely oil changes, checking
tires, brakes, cleaning vehicles, etc.
• Ensure availability of all required documents/supplies including
vehicle insurance, log books, office directory and
necessary spare parts. • Plan itinerary and requirements by studying the office
calendar or ad hoc requests . • Ensure passengers comply with all traffic safety regulations. • Respond to special requests by picking up and delivering items as instructed and running errands, • Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS • A secondary school diploma, apprenticeship certificate or any other equivalent certificate with a minimum of one year of experience; • Hold a valid driver’s license; • Have a thorough knowledge of driving rules and regulations; • Experience as a driver-mechanic will be an added advantage; • Experience with large organizations preferred; • Ability to communicate in English and French preferred; • Be authorized to work in Cameroon.
