The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law whose main mission is to improve in a sustainable and measurable manner the social situation of the Cameroonian population and to promote health. Thus, ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its partners in the public and private sectors to offer high-quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For more than twenty-five years, ACMS has been providing the Cameroonian population with comprehensive and evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria and HIV prevention among others.

The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is looking for candidates to carry out consultant missions for the configuration of the ACMS DHIS2 in order to set up an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system allowing the monitoring of indicators of coverage, results and impact of interventions, the identification of gaps in implementation and possibly the reorientation of strategies.
Who are we recruiting?
The consultant in charge of DHIS2 configuration will aim to support ACMS in installing and configuring the DHIS2 software, training trainers and designated managers, in particular by setting up and transferring existing data.
Essential missions:
Finalize the configuration of the Cameroon health map (organizational unit, etc.)
Design and program the basic modules (forms) on the DHIS2 platform for all levels of the Cameroon health pyramid; Set up programs relating to each of the projects implemented at ACMS; Train the ACMS technical team on the setting up and maintenance of modules in the DHIS2 system; Train the ACMS technical team in the use and administration of the DHIS2 platform; Support the transfer of data produced in DHIS2.
Qualifications and skills required: Hold a university degree equivalent to BAC + 4/5 in computer science / statistics and programming or a university education (Bac + 5) in public health; Have proven experience of at least 5 years in health information system management Proven experience in DHIS2 programming (this will be tested); Be a distinguished DHIS2 expert in the field of design and customization;Have field experience in the field of evaluation and management of the DHIS2 platform;
Have skills in teaching and team building;
Demonstrate excellent initiative and creativity; Have good analytical and writing skills; Additional experience in the design and/or management of the global health information system is an asset.
