As part of the implementation of the DIC activities for the new GC7 grant, the OBC
Association of Young Solidarity of Garoua (AJSGA) is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of (02) Psychosocial Counselors
Contract duration: 12 months renewable after evaluation, a trial period of at least one month will be observed.
Contract type: Fixed- term contract
Occupancy rate: 100%
Work location: Garoua
Main mission: Ensure psychosocial monitoring of all DIC beneficiaries when needed
, and in particular the active file
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of psycho-social activities, under the supervision of the DIC Coordinator;
- Implement Pre- and Post-Test Counseling and Individual Counseling;
- Develop monthly, quarterly and annual operational plans for its activity;
- Ensure the correct execution of the activities and services offered by the Association
- Practice ARV adherence support;
- Ensure the recording of reporting data on activities carried out during the month, quarter, etc.;
- Ensure that the confidentiality of the active file is respected;
- Lead and facilitate discussion groups;
- Provide psychosocial monitoring to affected and infected people;
- Provide hospital support;
- Relay prevention messages;
Job profile
Candidates for this position must:
BAC, psychosocial support training.
Professional experience: 2 years (two years) in a similar position in health and/or
development projects
