Mustard Seed Investment Credit (MUSIC) is a grass root Micro-Finance Institution created on 12th of June 2014, with a macro vision to offer innovative financial and related services to members and the public. By leveraging the power of financial technology, we are dedicated to bringing a new banking experience to all users, enhancing financial inclusion and facilitating digital payments across Africa. Amongst other conventional financial products like Savings accounts and current accounts, MUSIC has equally invested on a product called FLEXY BANK which enables users to access their accounts anytime and anywhere within and out of Cameroon.
We are seeking the services of suitable candidates who would be ready to work in our branch Office in Grand hangar, Douala in the following position;
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, planning and delivering effective marketing strategies and monitoring the progress of new and existing financial products;
Carry out prospecting and on boarding of customers, brokers and merchants for the purpose of offering them products and services that meet their specific needs.
Grow product holding per customer in order to maximize MUSIC share of customers wallet;
Provide operational support on a day-to-day basis;
Carry out cross selling of products;
Constantly engage customers in order to enlighten them on new products and services of MUSIC;
Identify opportunities and areas of growth for MUSIC;
Prepare and submit activity reports to management as may be required from time to time;
Work with other team members to source for new business;
Participate in organized customer forum for feedback and training on MUSIC products and services
Maintains customer records by updating account information.
Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
Required skills and qualifications
To have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing or an equivalent in a similar field from a reputable university;
Proven bank management experience for at least three years as a Branch manager or similar role;
Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
Good working knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Word,
Strong analytical skills,
Proven track record of good performance,
Ability to meet sales targets and production goals,
Excellent organizational and leadership skills,
Someone of impeccable personal and professional integrity,
A personality that is self-motivating , engaging, positive, result driven and possesses the maturity and capacity to command respect.
Objectives of this role
Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs
Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
